The Journey of Discovering Bioidenticals
This website will be dedicated to discovering more about bioidentical hormones that you may or may not be considering to use as a hormone replacement therapy.
I have been on my own personal journey of discovery ever since I saw the very popular program on Oprah about them and the success that many people have had. Off the prescription drugs and, through a doctor’s care, onto the bioidenticals.
By the time you’re finished reading here you should know all that I know and hopefully a little more (gleaned from your own experiences and research). Please leave comment on any page and share your personal experience or knowledge. Many others will benefit from this style of collaboration. (Your email will never be published live on the site so you don’t have to worry about thousands of people sending you spam email.)

Hi I just wanted to say that I have also been reading about Bioidentical hormones and just last week when I mention it to my doctor she told my no. What a disappointment. Her “concern” was that due to the fact I had ovarian cancer and had to have a full hysterectomy (everything gone) – that after doing her own research on it – that if there were any hidden mass or tumors that bioidentical hormones may bring them out. So instead she gave me 4 choices and was Premarin and after discussing my concerns – she told me I had a 1 out of 8 chance of getting breast cancer. I was 29 when I had ovarian and now I am 33 and miserable. If doctors were easy to come by in my city I would have told her she can kiss my butt. Anywho – have you ever heard of something like this happening? Thanks for the website.
I have been feeling like I have been going crazy? Now I am positive that I am imbalanced. Can I simply order the recommended tablets and take a recommended dosage and see how it goes? Suzanne Somers says she has her Dr alter her dosages based on her levels? Being in Canada it is difficult to get a Dr, much less find one that willnpartake in this type of therapy? Any suggestions? Cream vs tablets? Type of recommended creams?
Thank you for sharing this important information. Your site has been more informative and honest than anything else I have found! I now feel better equipped to request bioidentical hormones vs. synthetic when speaking with my own doctor. Thanks again.
I’m a 48 year old man, 275 lbs with low thyroid. I have been on synthetic thyroid medicine since 1993. I have been gaining weight and feel depressed with no energy. I get checked out by a doctor once a year to renew my prescription. I currently take 200ml. My question is this; Should i take all of these natural replacements-Bioidentical Hormones
Ashwagandha (Withania somnifera)
Black cohosh (Actaea racemosa)
Chastetree (Vitex agnus-castus)
Kudzu (Pueraria lobata)
Passionflower (Passiflora incarnata)
Red clover (Trifolium pratense)
Soy (Glycine max)
Wild Yam (Dioscorea villosa) for my condition or is there a formula for men specifically? And should I keep taking the synthetic medicine while I take these natural ones? Please help. FatGuy
This is one of the best-written blogs on bio-identicals I have ever read. Great job! I cut out doctors from my life about 33 years ago when I realized that they just wanted to cut me open or make money off of bullying me into fear and capitalizing on my ignorance. To any woman afraid of taking bio identicals because of previous cancer, just make sure your system is healthily alkaline, get some saliva test strips, and keep within the greenish blue range. Eat a clean diet with plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables, cut out red meat and pork and screw what the doctors say. If I’ve needed any help in my life I have gone to foreign countries where their physical therapists know more than a fully “trained” (brainwashed and paid off with bribes) doctor of the U.S. I know my body better than any physician and frankly they don’t really give a damn about healing us, just how much they will make off of us. Best to take care of our health. I’m fabulously healthy, no need for glasses, am 53 and look 35 am even mistaken for 25. Don’t put your trust and responsibility for your body and life in the hands of another. Arm yourself with knowledge and start taking care of your own health.
